Father's Day

I am a few days late, yes two, but what matters is that I got it up here, right! This is a small tribute to My dad, and my husband! Happy Fathers Day to two very important men in my life!

Dad, I dont know how you survived raising 6 girls, but I sure am glad that we had you as a father. You taught us so much as we were growing up, and as you can see and tell, we have accepted those lessons and use them in our daily lives! I know that as much as me, all of us girls are so thankful that we had you in our lives everyday! You not only are an example to us, but to our children as well. Thank you for everything Dad! Hope your Father's Day was a Great One!! We love you!

Chris, My husband, Father, StepDad, and so much more. You are so amazing. You have stepped up to a challenge to be a Dad to Zak, Haylee, and Kamryn, and have accepted Brittany and Jace into your heart and life as your own. I cannot thank you enough for all that you do for these 5 kids! They all love you and appreciate everything you do for them. I am so excited to continue growing as a family with you as the leader and protecter. I just hope your ready for the teenage years for the girls!! We love you so much!

Campin with the Fam

The kids and I minus Zak were able to go to Lake Powell for a few days and camp with my sister Chanell, her husband Skylar, daughter Chandlar and my parents. We had a great time and wish we could have stayed longer, but were glad to be home and in our own beds. We got there on Thursday around 2 and played in the lake and sand for two days, then headed back home on Saturday to be sure to be home for Father's Day on Sunday. My parents are devoted campers, we grew up doing nothing but camping. I love it and wish we could do it more. However, our lives are so busy, we barely get the chance. But when we do, we make it worth it. I got to see/meet my newest niece, Chandlar, and she just loved me!!!(Well, I like to think that she did! Im sure she did!) Grandpa has a huge 5th wheel trailer with all the makings of home so we were able to have good dinners, watch movies, and amazingly sleep all together in the trailer! Kamryn LOVED IT!! Haylee and Jace made lots of new friends with the other people that were camping along with us, and I think Jace may have even made a little girl "Like" him. It was so cute. I dont remember her name, and didnt get a picture, but she was cute! Anyhow, Thanks for the invite to go camping with you Chanell and Mom and Dad! We had a great time and hope to get to do it again in the near future! Here are some picture of the time at the lake.
