Baseball Season has offically come to an end. We are sad, but glad all at the same time. We have one more game for Kamryn on Tuesday and that will be it. The final baseball End of Year Party is Wed. the 24th and the kids will be receiving their trophies. Jace and Zak took 1st place and Haylee, who started in Tball then ended up playing in the Pinto age group(pitching machine), took 3rd. They should have been in the champion ship game, but thats ok...........cheaters never prosper(the other team that is). Thats what I say! She ended up playing for the Pirates and got to play with one of her really good friends. She was excited! I will post pictures of all the kids with their trophies and such once we attend the party.
It has definately been fun. I missed a lot of the games because of work, but Chris was a real trooper and pushed through the season with being team DAD! hahaha! Sounds great doesnt it. The boys coach awarded their players with new game balls for every 10 hits, runs, and walks the players would get. We are so proud that both were Jace and Zak received game balls for this.
I love this time of year, simply because it reminds me so much of when I was growing up playing ball with my sisters and friends. I absolutely love being a mom and watching my kids enjoy the things I did when I was growing up. It is GREAT!!!
